What do you want to know?
Why did you draw me?
Life is about human connection. It's dull without it. I take public transportation a lot, so I see hundreds of people almost every day. But too often we live in our own small spheres, in tiny universes on our phones, reading books, or staring blankly trying not to catch someone else's gaze. Why do we do that?
Yes, I may have drawn you because it's fun, or for practice, or because you have really interesting eyebrows, or an amazing jawline, or something. Or maybe I drew you because you looked tired, or like you needed a pick-me-up. Or maybe I drew you because I had nothing else to do. But most likely, I drew you to create a tiny moment of human connection. I've seen people's faces light up. I've made people's days. And I've made a lot of commutes brighter. That's reason enough for me.

Who are you?
I'm a mathematics graduate from UC Berkeley. I started drawing when I was about ten years old. I was really bad back then--but with tons of practice eventually I got better. I now work in Bavaria in data science. You can read a recent interview Free Malaysia Today did with me here.
Why do you draw with both hands?
I started to draw with both hands when I was around sixteen. I had seen a documentary about Leonardo Da Vinci. It said he drew with both hands at the same time. It's a really tough thing to learn. You get headaches. You need to take frequent breaks. I gave up many times. But I always tried again. I learned that it's not about how many times you fail, but that you always pick yourself up again when you do. After a decade of practice, drawing with both hands comes easy to me. I often even forget which hand I'm using.
What's the number on my picture?
I've drawn a lot of people. I've sorta kept track--sometimes I forget the exact number and just go to the last number I can remember with certainty--and I've drawn more than 15,000 people. I have even drawn as many as 104 people in a single day. That number on your portrait is the number of people I've drawn. My first year of keeping count, I drew roughly 200 people. My next year I drew I reached roughly 2,000 more people. The total only rises. On average this year I've been drawing 5 people per day.
